Back in 1992, almost every day, during lunch period, me and a few friends would skip school to smoke cigarettes and to eat at Burger King. The funny thing is I had come up with the brilliant idea of just casually walking out the front doors with complete confidence as though we definitely had permission to leave. My friends were a little afraid to experiment and try this reverse psychology on the administrators, who might be watching, but it worked every time. No one ever stopped us or asked to see our pass. Many of the other kids who tried to sneak out the traditional way, like suspiciously out a side or back door, got caught and punished. When returning, we would again simply walk right through the front doors. On one occasion, we took a video camera with us and documented one of our skips. I finally had it digitized from an old VHS tape, so here it is. Enjoy!
Oh, and by the way, I can no longer recommend this type of fast food, such as the food offered by Burger King, because I now believe it to be poisonous to our bodies! And now that I’m a non-smoker, I hope this video doesn’t encourage tobacco use by anyone of any age, because it has proven to be way too harmful to one’s health.
